Every day is the same for Charles, the first generation android housekeeper of Miss Georgina Langford. He wakes up, cooks, cleans, and repeats, that is, until Miss Langford starts to notice something is off.

Three generations after an event now known as Aurora’s Guidance – the extinction of human males due to an unknown mutation in the Y-Chromosome – first generation androids, like Charles, were built to help the surviving women with the menial dull drums of everyday life. Yet, the droids did more than that, they grew, matured, and seemingly evolved with their masters to the displeasure of those who now ran the world.
